You may be asking yourself:
"Pedicures
from a personal trainer?"
My answer to you is:
Yes!!
Foot care is SO important and Sam can
provide you with an exceptional "detailing" of your feet and toenails
to ensure that your feet are kept in perfectly healthy condition.
A regular pedicure (which takes about an hour) is $60.
This includes:
1: your own personal kit which Sam will put aside for you to ensure proper hygiene & health safety
2: clipping, filing and shaping of the toenails
3: removal of rough heel skin
4: foot spa with exfoliating scrub
5: cleaning of cuticles
6: moisturisation
'Medical Pedicures' - where Sam will care of fungal infections, verucas, etc - are only $80. They include all of the above treatments, but also care for:
- veruca and/or wart freezing
- removal/filing down of fungally infected toe nails
- advice on products to purchase and use at home to help with care
- massage for arthritis
While it is important to understand that Sam is not a trained podiatrist*, she has had to treat her own feet over the yrs and has developed both a very keen eye and "knack" for dealing with feet, and a great respect for the effects a healthy foot can have on over-all well being.
Sam understands how important it is to the indviidual to have these things dealt with in privacy, with empathy and no judgement.
You do NOT have to feel embarassed if you have bad feet - just come and get them healed with SMI, where total privacy and the utmost of care is our priority.
*If you have any infection requiring antibiotics, or something which I determine needs superior specialty care or a visit to a doctor or podiatrist office I will inform and advise you of such immediately.
Manicures
Simple, yet excellent detailing of hands and fingernails is a mere $20.
You may notice that there is no use of nail polish listed anywhere on this page. I do not believe in sharing nail polish as it is a great way to spread infections and one of the main purposes for me in this line of work is to minimise or irradicate infections.
However, if you wish me to paint your nails as well, I am happy to- just bring your own polish of choice along, and the price for this is simply an additional $5 for hands and $10 for feet- and don't forget that the time for this is not included in the time estimate listed above!
